Wait till after the show.

Desmond White sits in the waiting room of KSMB 94.5 in Lafayette. He is quietly reading a newspaper when the producer comes through the door.

Producer:"We are ready for you Mr. White."

Desmond gets up and follows the producer into the studio where he is shown to a seat across the desk from Bobby Novosad.

Bobby:"Welcome back to the morning show here on lafayettes #1 hit music station 94.5 KSMB. I am Bobby Novosad and we are joined here in the studio this morning by the current WWX Conquest Champion Desmond White. Thank you for joining us this morning Desmond."

Desmond:"Not a problem Bobby, It's a pleasure to be here."

Bobby:"Now this week at Fury, you are facing ...let me look again...TJ Phoenix. What do you know about this guy?"

Desmond:"To be honest Bobby, I didn't even know this kid was on the roster till I got booked into a match with him this week."

Bobby:"Well according to his bio, he is 5'11", weighs 230 lbs. He hails from Iowa and used to work somewhere else. Other than that ...I got nothing about the guy."

Desmond:"I will tell you one thing I have found out about him."

Bobby:"What's that?"

Desmond:"Evidently...his girlfriend thinks he is the best thing to hit a wrestling ring since sliced bread."

Desmond and Bobby start to laugh at the comment.

Bobby:"I heard his girlfriend talking him up while he sat there eating a sandwich on WWX tv the other night. She had some rather unflattering things to say about you as well."

Desmond:"I am not worried about what she had to say about me. He obviously knows better than to run his mouth about me, that's why he sat there looking stuck on stupid while his little woman ran her mouth.He knew better than to piss me off 2 days before our match."

Bobby:"Your a better man than I am. I would be all kinds of mad if someone called me...a snob and an idiot."

Desmond:" After I beat this rookie this week within an inch of his life I will take care of his girlfriend."

Bobby:"Come on now Desmond, you can't beat up a girl...it wouldn't be right."

Desmond:"I'm not talking about beating her up. No one who hits a woman is a real man and I am exactly that...a real man, and after the show his girlfriend will see how much of a real man I am...if ya know what I mean."

Bobby:"OH MY GAWD....you mean you are going to take his woman after the show!! That's rough man...that's really rough."

Desmond:"Trust me Bobby, I promise to be gentle with her."

Bobby and Desmond both start laughing again as the producer gives Bobby the wrap up sign from the control booth.

Bobby:"Well we are about out of time here Desmond, it's been a pleasure having you come in here this morning and I want to wish you the best of luck this friday at the Cajundome."

Desmond:"Luck is for loseers who let their girlfriends talk for them Bobby, I have skill...and when you got skill you don't need luck. Thanks for letting me come in man...keep it real."

The station goes to commercial and Desmond stands up and shakes Bobby's hand before leaving the studio.
