Venice Beach Freak Show
Venice Beach Boardwalk
Venice, California
11:15 AM

[Cameras open up to a beautiful winter day in Venice, California. The scene is quite the sight as people from all walks of life are crowding the Venice Beach boardwalk on this gorgeous winter day. To the right you can find various souvenir shops mixed in with the less than random “pot shops” and “medical shops”. On the left you can find street vendors selling anything and everything ranging from tableware to marijuana paraphernalia, a large man on stilts dressed as the Statue of Liberty is entertaining many of the tourists as he juggles three bowling pins, standing in the dead center of the picture you can find one person that is not amused with the street vendors, pot shops and street entertainer, that man is “Hollywood” Max Siegel. “Hollywood” is standing in the middle of the boardwalk strip wearing his black and white mask, white button down dress shirt, and black slacks. “Hollywood” is staring straight ahead at the camera and begins walking towards the camera crew.]

Siegel: Welcome to Venice Beach! Not exactly my cup of tea but nonetheless it will help get my point across. Look around and tell me what do you see?

[The camera pans from left to right showing more souvenir shops, pot shops, tourists, police officers and street entertainers. Max looks over his left shoulder and takes in the sight he shakes his head and continues walking down the Venice strip.]

Siegel: Nothing but a bunch of freaks! This place is filled with underprivileged scum, lowlifes that don’t deserve to be in my presence. I’m sure everyone at home is asking why would I waste my time coming here, isn’t Max Siegel, Hollywood?

[A crowd of tourists begin circling around Max Siegel and the camera crew, Max becomes uncomfortable as the Venice Beach crowd begins to take notice of the camera crew and WWX superstar.]

Siegel: I’m here to understand my opponents, I want to try and fully understand what they have to offer, what makes them tick. You see guys like Lipton and Evans are new creatures to me, I’ve never once tried to be an underprivileged kid from the streets of Buffalo, nor have I ever tried to be some Canadian piece of crap that tries to give himself the title of Mister WWX. Seriously, Tommy Lipton, Mister WWX? The man has got to be kidding me. Blaine Evans and Tommy Lipton, two men who should consider themselves lucky to have made it as far as they have, they should feel blessed that they didn’t get stuck against me in a match leading up to the finals, because if they did, neither man could be slated to participate in the Aftershock Main Event.

[A group of teenagers with mohawks walks by the camera crew and Max Siegel takes notice of the teens, the camera crew pans from Max Siegel to the teenagers and back to Siegel who has a look of disgust on his face.]

Siegel: Yes, the Blaine Evans influence, the man is trying to bring back that disgusting punk look. The same man who claims to be a devout Christian and follows a straight edge lifestyle, the straight edge virgin, Blaine Evans. The man has been a thorn in my side since I made my debut in the WWX, I became the Triple A Champion when I defeated an unworthy Brian Lochnar, Blaine couldn’t mind his own business and had to blindside me, take me out from behind, he took away what was rightfully mine. I never forgot about this, I didn’t need to ask for a rematch, I knew if I remained patient the time would come where I would exact my revenge. Blaine, I would have no problem with you if you would’ve kept your poverty stricken nose out of my business. I can’t blame you for wanting to get near greatness, everyone wants to know what life’s like on the Hollywood side of the tracks. But Blaine, you are nothing, just a sad, little freak show.

[Max looks around at the crowd and sees that the crowd behind him has almost doubled.]

Siegel: Blaine, you are just like all of these peasants behind me. You recognize greatness, you see a man that is not only the present but the future of the WWX and you want nothing more than to be able to breathe the same air. You like to look back at your recent success, I can’t blame you for that, when you are born into a World of disappointment it must be nice to finally feel success. But Blaine you must remember, this is not what the cards have in store for you, the carpet will be pulled out from under your feet, your days as a success will soon come to an end and you will be back with your crack wh*re of a mother in some run down shack.

[To the right of the screen a fortune teller can be seen, Max turns to the fortune teller and begins to watch as the man begins to tell the fortune of a tourist.]

Siegel: It’s rather pathetic, the length people will go to try and figure out their future. It’s really quite simple to figure out, you are either born to be a winner or you will be a loser. If you have to ask somebody to determine what fate has in store for you the answer is simple, nothing but disappointment. Tommy Lipton is a man looking for answers, answers of his past, what happened in two thousand ten and two thousand eleven? What will happen with Tommy’s memory in two thousand twelve? Oh the questions surrounding the former Ravage General Manager.

[“Hollywood” turns away from the fortune teller and looks off to the beach, the waves crashing into one another catches the attention of the masked superstar.]

Siegel: It’s interesting to look at the timeframe that Lipton has somehow forgotten he’s been unable to remember the years of two thousand ten and two thousand eleven. He remembers the Blood Pack yet he forgets the rather unmemorable attempt at creating the Elite. He remembers his friendship with Darkness but forgets getting destroyed by a rather forgettable duo of Max Lee and Cody Jenkins. Did they defeat anybody NOT named Tommy Lipton? WWX records show that those two were terrible! Lipton’s doctor and some b*tch named Melissa have been updating him on the happenings of twenty ten and twenty eleven, Tommy boy, allow me the honors to remind you of what happened in those years.

[An evil smirk can be seen through the black and white mask as “Hollywood” entertains the thought of reviewing Tommy Lipton’s past years.]

Siegel: I’m sure they reminded you of your Hall of Pain victory in twenty ten, I’m sure they even reminded you of becoming the Unified Heavyweight Champion and your involvement with the Firm. I remember you forgetting about a man named DGS, yes the very same man that was known to be the thorn in your side, the man who defeated you time and time again. I don’t blame you for trying to black out the absolute embarrassments that were your performances against DGS, because honestly if I were you I would have fled the country and never returned! DGS destroyed you on more than one occasion, no matter how hard you tried, no matter the outcome DGS ALWAYS got the best of you. It’s funny to think that at one point DGS was so far in your head that some scrub named Dylan Johnson defeated you for the International Championship. Yes, Dylan Johnson was able to launch a career off of a victory over you. You were defeated by Dylan Johnson, where the hell is Dylan Johnson now? You were known as the launching board by many WWX wrestlers, because the last two years saw Tommy Lipton be defeated by numerous newcomers. Dylan Johnson, Dane Crowder and Boston Barnes are ALL men that became Heavyweight Champions after being victorious in a match involving you.

[Max steps over a wooden guard rail and begins walking towards the beach, as he reaches the sand he looks back at the camera crew.]

Siegel: Yes, there’s no doubt that Lipton became the General Manager of Ravage in twenty eleven, he even found himself named General Manager of the Year, but when it came to in-ring performances Tommy Lipton has been nothing more than a stepping stone. After winning the WWX Unified Heavyweight Championship he was soon after defeated by a washed up Lost Soul, Lipton’s days as a winner have come and gone, just like his memory. At Aftershock, Tommy Lipton will continue to further his legacy as a stepping stone, because he will be the man on the wrong side of a three count. A future World Champion will be able to look back and thank Tommy Lipton because he will have once again helped create another World Champion. Tommy needs to watch his words leading up to Aftershock if he’s not careful his mouth might lead to him becoming a vegetable!

[“Hollywood” walks on the sand and begins making his way towards the waves, without turning back to the cameras Siegel can be heard screaming.]

Siegel: TOMMY LIPTON! I WILL MAKE YOU FAMOUS!

[As the waves continue to crash the cameras slowly fade to black.]
