Survival of the Sickest (Nick Mason AFTERSHOCK RP)

[The scene opens, and purple graphic comes on the screen. It reads "THIS IS LIVE ON XCESS". The graphic fades, revealing the Toronto Xcess Arena. Thousands of screaming fans are in attendance, ready for some action. The ring announcer interrupts the fans, as they all go silent.]

Announcer: Ladies and gentleman, please welcome, one of the Number One Contenders to the Triple A Championship, "Maverick" Nick Mason!

["Rock of Ages" kicks in as the lights flash red and blue. "Maverick" Nick Mason steps onto the stage, boos bursting out from the fans. Gold fireworks shoot up as Mason flexes his arms outward. Mason makes his way to the ring, a confident smile on his face. "Maverick" rolls in the ring, hopping on a turnbuckle. He flexes his bicecps, and then points outward.  He hops off the turnbuckle, and grabs a microphone. Nick is wearing a black V-Neck T-shirt, and blue jeans. He is wearing a silver Rolex, along with red Nikes.]

Mason: What's happening T-Dot?

[The fans go crazy at the Canadian's mention of their town. Nick smiles.]

Mason: I may rag, on a lot of places. I may be thought of, as a jerk, but one place I will not hate on, is Toronto.

[More cheers from the fans.]

Mason: I mean, I was born here. I'm a life long Leafs fan.

[Even more cheers.]

Mason: The Argo's are fantastic, and what's not to love about the Raptors? They've won exactly zero NBA Championships. Not to mention Toronto FC, who consistently choke in the play-offs.

[Boos suddenly shower Mason. Nick begins to laugh.]

Mason: I'm kidding, i'm kidding. Seriously, I love Ontario almost as much as I love Nova Scotia. But, enough about the Great White North. I'm not here to talk about that. What i'm here for, is to talk about Aftershock. I'm here, to talk about my opponents in the Fatal Four Way for the Triple A Championship!

[The fans erupt, hanging on Maverick's every word.]

Mason: First, there's The Specialist. What he's special for, or specializes in, i'll never know. I don't know too much about this guy, but I know that anyone crazy enough to take me on is definitely special. It takes a special person to step into a match without knowing the stipulation...He, as well as myself, are two of those special people.

[Nick looks directly to the camera.]

Mason: Specialist, I look forward to meeting you at Aftershock. Better bring your A game.

[Mason turns back to the crowd.]

Mason: Next, is the so called "Hardcore One", TA Alexander. TA has an advantage that the other 2 men do not have. He will know exactly what i'm capable of, after I whip his ass on Fury. If I was him, i'd withdraw from this four way, because Mister Alexander will be in no shape to compete, once i'm through with him.

[A loud cheer from some of the fans. They love the hometown hero.]

Mason: And now, it brings me to The Lost Soul.

[A few boos, while others cheer. Lost Soul has a very split reaction from this crowd.]

Mason: The Lost Soul, has done it all here, in the WWX. He's been a World Champion, an International Champion, a Television Champion, and now, the Triple A Champion.

[Some more cheers for Lost Soul.]

Mason: The thing is, experience and accolades mean nothing in this kind of match. You need to expect the unexpected. And, speaking of that, that was the first piece of advice I recieved about Lost Soul. Expect the unexpected. Thats what I plan on doing. But, I have a little piece of advice, for you, Lost Soul. I want you, to expect the unexpected. Because while I have had an amazing stint here already, I have yet to hit my stride. I am the Next Generation of the WWX, keyword, Next. You have yet to see my best work. The best work of Nick Mason, is yet to come.

[Fans are cheering, the hometown crowd firmly behind Maverick.]

Mason: Specialist, Alexander and Lost Soul...I've got four words for ya...Welcome to the Dangerzone.

["Rock of Ages" cuts in as Nick drops the mic, leaves the ring, and walks to the stage. Nick turns to the ring, and bows to his hometown crowd. He turns back, raises his arm, and walks through the curtain. Scene fades to black as the XCESS logo appears.]
