Not in The Mood

[Darkness enters the Cajun Dome through the left side of the Dome. The purpose of this was to try and avoid any people especially Chris Sanders. Darkness makes his way around the arena scoping the area out for potential hiding spots for anybody that may want to jump him or Lipton. As Darkness turns one of the corners he runs into the one person he didn't want to... Chris Sanders.]

Sanders: Hey Darkness, just the one person I wanted to see.

Darkness: Sorry to say the feeling isn't mutual right at this moment Sanders.

Sanders: I'm sorry to hear that Darkness but since your here do you mind answering a few questions?

[Darkness stares at Sanders and then lets out a quick sigh before answering.]

Darkness: Fire away Sanders but make it quick.

[Sanders quickly sets up with his camera crew and begins the interview.]

Sanders: So Darkness, what do you think about the whole situation with Lance Invictus?

Darkness: As I said yesterday Sanders, I have nothing else to say on that matter. I just feel for the homeless guy that had nothing to do with this. 

Sanders: Yes, WWX officials are looking into the matter. 

Darkness: There is nothing to look into. The proof is on the video and come Fury Lance will not walk out of that ring under his own power. So I suggest that WWX officials do their job before the match or have the medics ready to roll.

[Darkness begins to walk down the hallway leaving Sanders scrambling to catch up and keep the interview going. Sanders chases Darkness down catching up with him about half way down the hall.]

Sanders: What do you think about the comments from Hollywood Max Siegel?

Darkness: Persistent little bug aren't you. I really don't care what Max has to say. He is just another guy saying that he isn't afraid, he is better than all the rest and then points out the fact that we are all past our prime. Max do you not get it; it doesn't matter how old you are, how young you are and it sure doesn't matter what we have done in the past. What matters is what is going to happen Friday night when the four of us get in the ring with the opportunity to advance in the Invitational. It doesn't matter what you have done, what I have done, or what Gunnar has done. What matters is what we are going to do and what I am going to do is win the fatal four way and advance in the Invitational. So Max if you want to prove something then show up Friday night and prove to me what you have got like Echo Stevens did but I can guarantee it will end up just it did for Echo Stevens except this time I want give back what I won... a spot in the final.

[Darkness looks at Sanders and begins to walk off again, just one problem, Sanders doesn't take the hint and follows Darkness one more time.]

Darkness: You just can't take the hint can you Sanders.

Sanders: Sorry, this is my job and I love doing my job. 

Darkness: Apparently. Do you have a question Sanders and this better be the last one.

Sanders: Are you going to be able to trust Gunnar in the match?

Darkness: Are you kidding Sanders. There will be no trust in this match. It will be every man for themselves. With what is at stake I don't even know if I can trust myself. Although I will take the advice of Tommy and trust his instincts that Gunnar has changed since the disbandment of the Firm.

[Darkness walks off rounding the corner when Sanders yells out one more question.]

Sanders: What do you think about the fact that Gunnar is studying your matches to learn more about you?

Darkness: (sticking his head back around the corner) All I can say is that he better study hard because I have more tricks up my sleeve and this test will be a hard one to pass.

Sanders: Well there you have it Darkness is ready for Friday night. Gunnar has a lot more studying to do, Max just needs to prove he has what it takes, and as far as Lance is concerned... I would hate to be in his shoes come Fury. This is Chris Sanders signing off.
