Mississippi Bound

The scene opens up at Madison Square Garden. "The Graceful Assassin" Beatrice Tracy Pendragon walks up and sees a downed security guard. He regains his composure and steps in front of her.

GUARD: I'm sorry ma'am, but this is a restricted area.

BEATRICE: Do you know who I am?

GUARD: To me, you're the hottest mama I've ever seen and wondering if you wanna go out on a date with me.

BEATRICE: I would be inclined to accept your invite, but there's a problem.


GUARD: What's that baby?


Suddenly, without warning, Beatrice knees him in the gut hard, dropping the big man to his kness.


BEATRICE: I am the wife of the Ravage GM and you WILL give me the proper respect that comes with it. Do I make myself clear?

GUARD: Yes...ma'am.


BEATRICE: Now answer me this: where is everyone? Mayhem was supposed to be here tonight.


GUARD: Xavier...cancelled Mayhem this week.

BEATRICE: And didn't bother to--

Just then, Beatrice's cell phone rings.

BEATRICE: Speak.

*inaudible*

BEATRICE: You're just now telling me?! You're gonna have to work with me. I flew from Philadelphia to Houston and now here in the Big Apple only to have to fly out again?! Where is Ravage going to be?

*inaudible*

BEATRICE: I think so. I'll tell him and let him know....So he already knows?

*inaudible*

BEATRICE: Okay then. I'll see you in Mississippi.

Beatrice looks down at the downed guard.

BEATRICE: Killian Gavin was here, wasn't he?

GUARD: Yeah. He left a little while ago.

BEATRICE: I see. Then he must have gotten the same response I just did.

Beatrice begins walking down the hallway.

GUARD: You can't go down--

BEATRICE: Either shut up or you will be fired.

GUARD: You can't do that. I don't work for the WWX.

The smart comment forces Beatrice to turn back around into the guard's face. She looks at the shirt the guard is wearing and it states "WWX Security". Beatrice then gets back on her cell phone, this time calling her husband.

XAVIER: Pendragon.

BEATRICE: Hey baby, it's me.

XAVIER: Hey sweetie. Sorry about making you fly halfway across the USA. What's up?

BEATRICE: There's a security guard down here who has just challenged authority.

XAVIER: I see. Are they in front of you now?

BEATRICE: Yeah.

XAVIER: Put 'em on.

Beatrice then hands the guard the phone.

GUARD: Yes, sir?

XAVIER: Why did you just lie to my wife?

GUARD: I honestly didn't know she was your wife-

XAVIER: Save it. You also caused trouble when Killian Gavin stopped by there as well. I got a call from him saying he had gotten stopped by your crap. I will NOT tolerate this. Put my wife back on the phone.

The guard hands Beatrice's cell back to her.

BEATRICE: Yeah baby?

XAVIER: You have my permission to dismiss him.

BEATRICE: Okay babe. I'll see you in Mississippi. You going to Silver Star after the show?


XAVIER: I might. You wanna go with me?

BEATRICE: Sure. I'll talk to ya later baby. Bye.

She hangs up the phone and turns her attention back to the guard with a look of fire in her eyes. The guard, now realizing who he is standing in front of, now begins to quake with fear.

BEATRICE: I hope you enjoyed working for the WWX because as of right now, you're fired.


Beatrice then turns to leave, leaving the guard to soak in the reality that he no longer has a job. Beatrice looks at the camera.

BEATRICE: I see that Mayhem has been cancelled this week and my match alongside Killian Gavin has been moved to Ravage. No big issue there but SOMEONE is going to feel my anger. Whether it be Stuart, Maria or BOTH of them, someone is going to be Sniped-Out.
