[Scene opens with "Maverick" Nick Mason sitting on a black steel folding chair. Nick is wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and brown work boots. Underneath the jacket, Nick is wearing a red t-shirt, with the word DANGERZONE written across the chest. Light glints off of dogtags hanging from Nicks neck.]
Mason: Hello WWX Faithful. My name, is "Maverick" Nick Mason. I'm pretty sure after my Ravage match, most of you know who I am. But, for those who don't, I am the worst nightmare, of all of the WWX wrestlers. Notice how I used the word wrestler, and not superstar. I am a superstar. The people in WWX who step in that ring, are wrestlers, except for a few. Lance Invictus is a person I admire. Ace Richie Watson as well, and how could I not mention Tommy Lipton?
[Nick re-adjusts his position in the chair, into a more relaxed lean.]
Mason: You see, after my match with the Veteran, and let me assure, he's not a Veteran of the ring. As I was saying, after my match with the Veteran, I know, people were surprised. Veteran used his best moves, all of his best moves to try and put me down, and I put him down with one move. Yes, the Top Gunner is devastating, but I showed a hell of a lot of endurance out there. More on that, in a few minutes, however.
[Mason grabs the dogtags and pulls them closer to the camera.]
Mason: These dogtags, I took from the Veteran. He may be a soldier, and i'm not one to criticise the military, but after that embarrassing showing, the United States Army might want to reconsider their basic training. Maybe they should have me as a drill sergeant.
[Nick tucks the dogtags back under the jacket, but in front of the shirt.]
Mason: As I was saying earlier, I have great durability. Which, brings me to my main point. Durability, is a huge factor, in my upcoming match with TA Alexander on Fury. You see, it's no normal match. It, is a hardcore match. Weapons are welcome, in fact there encouraged. And I plan on bringing a few goodies into the match.
[Maverick leans forward, not a sound in the room but his voice.]
Mason: There's the barbwire baseball bat, the kendo stick, and the brass knuckles, which Lance Invictus has an affinity for. But me, Nick Mason, I have an affinity, for this very device of destruction right here.
[Mason stands up, grabbing the chair he was sitting on. He folds it up, and looks admiringly at it.]
Mason: This very tool, has won matches, won titles, and ended careers. A steel chair. A cold, hard metal object. All it takes, is one hit. One hit, and the match is over. One hit, to the head. A knockout, a shortened career. One hit, and I have my second win in the WWX. I'm undefeated, and I plan on staying that way.
[Mason takes his gaze off of the chair, and looks directly at the camera.]
Mason: TA Alexander, I'm not gonna lie...I have no idea who you are. From what i've heard, your a crazy man. A guy who will do anything to win...Well guess what...So am I. I promise you, I want to win more than you. I promise anyone and everyone, I want to win, more than you.
[Mason puts the chair down, and sets it back up. He takes a seat. Nick smooths out his clothes, and looks at the camera again.]
Mason: Don't think you can come to Fury, and beat me up. Don't think you can come to Fury, and show me why your quote..Hardcore.. The only thing your coming to Fury for is to get tossed around by me, and then get handed a loss. Mr. Alexander, welcome to the Dangerzone. Good luck. You'll need it. And remember, just...one...hit.
[Mason stands up, and walks out of the room. All that's left is the chair as the scene goes black.]
