Example Strat
Here is a sample strat as requested. This one was from early back during the rise of The Firm. It showcases how even a simple action can change things. Not all strats have to be backstage ambushes.

Very simple strat...

The Devil Dog's entrance is enough to unhinge and distract virtually most other superstars. As simple as this may sound, that is exactly what Sanders will use to his and Nate Rodger's advantage.

Just prior to Nate Rodger's strat...

------

[The arena lights suddenly dim. A red glow fills the stage and ringside area as the wailing of air raid sirens emits from the arena speakers. "Indestructible" by Disturbed bursts from the pa. The massive silhouette of the Devil Dog is cast behind the tunnel curtain.]

Hart: "Not again!"

Lane: "It's about damn time! The Sum of All Men finally gracing us with his presence."

Hart: "When the Devil Dog shows up you can guaran-damn-tee that all hell is about to break loose."

[Corporal Sanders enters from the tunnel to a loud cacophany of boos and jeers from the crowd. He paces slightly across the stage, eyes peering down toward the ring.]

Hart: "The Devil Dog has his sights set on SPS. Of that, there is no doubt, Gary."

----

The entrance should be enough to deter all present in and around the ring from noticing Rodgers and his oncoming ambush.

When the dust settles, Hart makes note that Sanders is no longer present, seemingly disappearing without notice during the action. Lane, of course, celebrates the deception and praises Sanders' ability to take even the most seasoned and experienced of veterans out of their game just by the threat or thought of him entering into the fray.

So, basically you will use a strat to give the writer an idea of how you want your storyline or feuds to progress. It does not even need to be one-way either. Myself and others have, in the past, sent in a strat that had our opponents getting the upper hand on our own character. That allowed us to set up our next week's RP's vowing revenge.

Let me know if you want more and I'll post another from the Devil Dog Archive.

Just to give you some more ideas. I do my strats in several parts. I usually make a section for what my characters are doing before the match, during the match, after the match, and have an "if all else fails" section. Try not to be generic. I don't say things like "my guys slams him and then drops an elbow". ~ azoppi

Thanks for the quick reply! This strat is of a completely different format than what I've been sending in, so this should help me out immensely. ~ ceomoses

If you're willing to post more, I'll take all you want to give. The better I understand how strats are used in different ways, the better I'll be. Maybe an example of an on-card RP as well to better understand the difference. Thanks again! ~ ceomoses

this is way different from what I generally send in as well....good info to have. ~ viperz
